1. 1 John 5:21
Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God's place in your hearts.

C`est lui qui est le Dieu véritable, et la vie éternelle. Petits enfants, gardez-vous des idoles.


Meaning: This strikes as a loving statement, said by an old man, passing along his wisdom.  Prevention is the core message.  The first part to preventing a straying heart is figuring out what will cause your heart to wander.  Some people allow anger to fill their heart, most struggle with money, or perhaps it's slowly stepping away from our routine of connecting with God which allows a distance in our heart.  What causes your heart to wander?  The honest answer to this question will lead you to ways to prevent it from happening.


2. Psalm 63:1
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.

Meaning: Have you been stuck in your thoughts lately?  You are angered easily, your patience runs thin, and perhaps your optimism has worn down.  This happens when we don't connect with the Lord on a regular basis.  Especially  when our schedules get hectic, taking time out to spend with God can be often overlooked.  If you have not in a while, spend some time, first thing in the morning praying to God and reading His word.  You will see a noticeable difference in your patience, optimism, and grace.


3. Isaiah 61:10
I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit or a bride with her jewels.

Meaning: It's a freeing feeling when we realize God's grace covers us. No more are we chained to guilt for the things we have done to ourselves or how we have mistreated others. It's a humbling acknowledgement when we realize we are sinners and can do nothing to stop it. Yet God, full of grace and mercy, has wiped away our shortcomings and fills in for us. Think back on your biggest regrets.  Now take a moment to recognize God has exchanged your guilty baggage for brand new wedding clothes. Then experience this overwhelming joy.

LORD, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart's desire is to glorify your name.

Meaning: Obeying God's laws will not save us or gain the favor of God. Rather, we can demonstrate our trust in God by following His ways. The important word is trust.  In all relationships, trust is an essential part of relationship. It is trusting in Him that leads to everlasting life. Following God's ways is not a requirement, but instead a natural response to His faithful love for us.  What is your heart's desire?

Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.

Meaning: Who do you run to when you are in trouble?  Perhaps your spouse, parents, or a good friend?  The problem with these people is they are human and can't always rescue you or know what is best for you.  God says he will rescue you, not maybe, not perhaps, but He WILL rescue you.  How comforting it is to know God has your back.  It's only fitting we respond with thankfulness and give God the honor He deserves.  Are you in trouble?  Then call on the Lord, He will be there.

1. John 10:14
 "I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me,"

 Je connais mes brebis, et elles me connaissent,


Meaning: These words came straight from Jesus' mouth.  If you ever wonder whether Jesus cares for you or loves you, this is your verse.  He knows you so well, even the cry of your heart.  He is a good shepherd who has sacrificed Himself for you.  If you are wondering where God is in your life or if He cares for you, this is your message.  These are His words speaking directly to you.

2. Psalm 5:1
O LORD, hear me as I pray; pay attention to my groaning.

Meaning: Do you ever struggle with feeling like you aren't heard by others or worse misunderstood? It's never a good feeling when a trusted friend fails to listen or hear you. Rather than getting upset and mad at them recognize their limitations. Accept them for who they are and don't try to change them. Turn to God to be heard and understood. He is always waiting for you to turn your heart to Him. Have your needs met by God.

You will find forgiveness from Christ and others.

Meaning: In the Bible, David was called a man after God’s own heart. He knew God and saw amazing miracles throughout his life. But notice in this verse what David did. He set the tone for his whole day by spending time with the Lord in the morning. It didn’t matter what was going on in his life, David had his priorities set. Even though he was mistreated by his family, manipulated, made fun of, hunted down by King Saul, and even made some major mistakes on his own, David realized that each morning held the promise of new hope. Just like David, if you’ll make spending time with God a priority in your life, you will see Him move mightily on your behalf. Make it a habit to seek Him first every single day no matter what is happening.

“The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom: a good understanding have they that do His commandments: His praise endureth forever.

Today’s verse tells us that the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The word fear in this instance doesn’t mean “to be afraid;” it means to honor and respect. It means that we honor Him because He is God. When you truly respect Him for who He is and worship Him out of a grateful heart, His supernatural wisdom will operate in your life. You’ll know just what to do in difficult situations, and you’ll be a voice of godly counsel among your friends and family. Worship Him alone and always put Him first because that is the beginning of wisdom.

1. Roman 8:5
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.

Ceux, en effet, qui vivent selon la chair, s`affectionnent aux choses de la chair, tandis que ceux qui vivent selon l`esprit s`affectionnent aux choses de l`esprit.


Meaning: Our thoughts have a great impact on us.  Our thoughts are what impact our words and actions.  When your mind is not in a good place you can be hurtful in words and deeds.  Yet often our mind gets burdened by anxiety, despair, and fear.  If you notice the circular thoughts, stop them by changing the direction of your thoughts.  Don't allow your mind to be dominated!  Focus on ways you can show mercy to others or what you can say to respond with a gentle tone.  Focus on things that please the Spirit.


2. Psalm 103:13
The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.

Meaning: Sometimes it can be difficult to think of the Lord in terms of a father.  Our earthly, albeit human, father may not have loved us the way we feel loved or even abandoned us altogether.  There can be a gap left between what was modeled by our earthly father and how our heavenly Father loves us.  Yet we know God is tender and compassionate.  We must find it in our hearts to forgive our father so that we may fully experience the love of our Father.  Pray your heavenly Father will help you uncover and release any roots of anger or bitterness as you walk in relationship with Him.

A youngster's heart is filled with foolishness, but physical discipline will drive it far away.

Meaning: This proverb is filled with valuable wisdom and can be applied with the struggles of parenting a teenager.  Students who have time on their hands often find themselves getting into trouble.  Implementing a physical routine such as playing football,  working a job requiring physical labor and is good experience for them.  It trains a teenager to be disciplined, focused on time management, and works out their extra energy.  It's a rough road walking alongside and parenting a teen, but this wisdom is practical when applied.

1. Lord, help  me  to  be  able  to  be  constant/ persistent  in  these  200  days  of  fasting  and  prayer  so  that  I  as  your  servant  will  get  the  full  blessings  in  it.


2. Father  open  doors  for  me  and  let  the  counsel  of  the  wicked  against  me  be  turned  to  foolishness.

3. Lord, i  want  your  glory  upon  my  life, family, marriage  etc.

Heaven or hell, which one will you choose?
Jesus Christ awaits your answer. John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has eternal life; he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.

Lord Jesus I am a great sinner but today I want you to forgive me all my sins and take my life henceforth all the days of my life to be in your court so that when you appear I will not be left behind. Thank you Jesus for saving me.
